Overview
Java Edition gets a beautiful advancement system: the tabbed screen, the progression trees, that satisfying little pop-up when you finally do the thing. Bedrock Edition gets... an achievements screen that locks itself the moment you add an add-on. Cool. Thanks, Mojang.
Over 100,000 of you downloaded version 1, so version 2 takes everything we learned and rebuilds it from the ground up. It brings all 126 Java Edition advancements and all 132 Bedrock achievements to your world, on the advancement screen you know from Java, with every tree laid out and connected just like Java. Hover over anything to see what it is and how far along you are. Toasts slide in when you unlock something: Advancement Made, Goal Reached, Challenge Complete and Achievement Unlocked.
The big new thing is the BedrockAdvancements Creator at bedrockadvancements.com. Build whole tabs of your own advancements in your browser and watch them appear exactly as they will in game. There are 34 kinds of goals, you can upload your own icons and backgrounds, and you export a normal add-on file. Share it on the website, then browse, rate, comment on and remix packs other players have made.
Craft the Book of Advancements from a book and four amethyst shards. Sneak and use it for your In Progress list, which shows exactly what is still missing for long ones like A Balanced Diet. Put it on a lectern and your name and score float above it, and friends can browse your advancements on the real screen.
Server owners and Realm admins get a rebuilt admin menu: anyone's progress tab by tab, online or offline, grants and revokes with a tap, statistics, settings that save as you change them, and Discord posts through BedrockRelay. It needs no experiments, so your world keeps earning Xbox achievements, and it works on every device, on Realms and on servers. Upgrading from version 1? Install version 2 over it and everyone's unlocks, with their original dates, come across automatically.

Changelog
-
v2.0.0 Latest
BedrockAdvancements 2.0 is a complete rebuild, and the add-on now lives on its own website: bedrockadvancements.com. Downloads, docs and the new creator are all there.
New
- The real Java advancement screen: tabs with their own backgrounds, trees laid out and connected exactly like Java, and hover tooltips with progress ("3/17")
- All 126 Java Edition advancements, with Java's frames, challenge XP rewards and hidden advancements that reveal themselves as you go
- No experiments needed: your world keeps earning Xbox achievements
- The Creator: make your own tabs of advancements in your browser with a live preview, 34 kinds of goals and your own icons and backgrounds, then export a normal add-on. No code needed
- Community packs: share what you make, and download, rate, comment on and remix other players' packs (sign in with Discord)
- A rebuilt admin menu, one screen per job: anyone's progress tab by tab, grants and revokes, statistics, settings that save as you change them, and a reset locked behind typing CONFIRM
- Book menu: sneak and use the Book of Advancements for your In Progress list and a switch for your own pop-ups
- Two editions: Standard needs no experiments; Beta adds exact structure detection and, from Minecraft 1.26.60, exact crafting detection using Beta APIs. Progress is shared, so you can switch either way
- Add-on makers can add their own tabs and advancements, even with plain JSON and no scripts
- /ba:grant and /ba:revoke accept a whole tab or everything
- 29 languages, translated by the community
Changed
- The Bedrock Achievements tab is off by default in new worlds, because its 132 buttons make the screen slower to open. Operators turn it on in the admin menu's Settings; upgraded worlds keep their setting
Fixed
- Village iron golems and other natural spawns no longer count as summoned golems
- Breeding a mule credits whoever fed the horse and donkey
- Diamonds to you! and Time for Stew work when another player catches the item
Upgrading from 1.x
- Install 2.0 over 1.x. Everyone's unlocks, with their original dates, and their partial progress are imported the first time the world loads. Lecterns keep working, and the 1.x data is left in place
Works with Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50+ No experiments needed (the Beta edition uses Beta APIs)

v1.5.5
Fixed
- Iron Belly: Fixed the achievement sometimes not being awarded when eating rotten flesh while starving
- Server Errors on Disconnect: Fixed errors filling the server log when a player left the game shortly after using a furnace, riding a minecart, placing a conduit, or leashing a llama. This could also, very rarely, award Super Fuel or Alternative Fuel to a player as they disconnected
- Two by Two: Fixed frog, turtle and sniffer breeding still not registering in some worlds. The event filter used to detect their pregnancies is unreliable, so the check now happens in code instead
- The Parrots and the Bats: Fixed the advancement no longer being awarded for breeding animals outside the 26 tracked by Two by Two
- Trampoline: Fixed bounces being missed when the rebound happened too fast for the ground contact to be detected, and fixed a stale bounce (landing in water, a boat, or on a ladder) blocking all later attempts until you touched solid ground again
- The Healing Power of Friendship: The mob now has to actually be finished off by you or the axolotl. Previously a mob you had both hit could die to fall damage, fire, or something else entirely and still count
- Moskstraumen: Placing several frame blocks in a row now keeps the detection window open instead of letting it expire partway through building the frame
- Uh Oh: Added the missing error handling, so a sulfur cube that despawns mid-interaction can no longer throw an error into the server log

- The Healing Power of Friendship: Rewrote detection to match Java Edition behavior exactly — the advancement now triggers when a mob dies after being attacked by both you and an axolotl, removing the previous reliance on regeneration effects which could miss legitimate kills
