Bedrock Holobuild
Save any build as a blueprint, then build copies of it anywhere, guided by holograms.
- Holograms that look like the real blocks: the layer you're building in real shapes and textures, the rest of the build as a glowing blue wireframe (or solid blocks), projected from the Holo Wand a layer at a time. Show this layer, everything up to here, or the whole build.
- Save a build with two uses of the wand, on opposite corners: the box fits itself and measures its height, buttons beside it grow or shrink any side, and a scan of light marks it saved.
- Five starter builds in every world, to try it straight away, and any saved structure can become a blueprint.
- Place it just right. Punch the buttons beside the copy to move it a block at a time, turn it, mirror it (stairs and doors face the right way) or fly round it. A punch is a click, a tap or a trigger, so it works on every device. Move a build after starting it, too.
- It shows you what's next: the next block you can place has a yellow outline, wrong blocks a red one, and the side panel says what the next block is, how far and which way, and what your layer still needs.
- Build it your way: by hand (blocks turn to fit), Easy Place (use any item on a ghost), placing from your inventory just by looking, or the Printer, which builds it from the chests near you, the blocks flying into place.
- Never run short: What do I need? counts the chests around you, the wand on a chest takes out what your layer needs, and Refill from chests tops you up when you run out.
- Build together. Friends carry on your build, everyone who helped is named when it's done, and builds wait for you, even across restarts.
- For operators: Admin settings (who can use Holobuild, and a switch for every feature), placing a whole blueprint in one click, and undo.
- No experiments needed: works on Realms, servers and single player, in 29 languages.
- With BedrockRelay: blueprints in and out from the dashboard, and live build cards on Discord.
Type /holobuild, or craft the Holo Wand (glass, a gold ingot and a stick) and use it.
By Rob 'myGen' Hall. Holograms use block models, the block atlas and
face particles from Construct by ForestOfLight (MIT).
