Bedrock Statistics

Bedrock Statistics

Java Edition-style player statistics for Minecraft Bedrock Edition, with floating leaderboards, a
Statistics Book and lecterns to show your stats off.

Features

  • Statistics Book: use it to open your stats. Crafted from a book and redstone dust; new players get one free.
  • Statistics Lecterns: put your book on a lectern and anyone can read your stats there. You choose the statistic shown above it.
  • Six categories: General, Combat, Building, Exploration, Survival and Miscellaneous, updated live.
  • Full Breakdowns of every block, item, mob, death cause, effect and biome, with search.
  • Rankings: your position on the server for every statistic.
  • Biome progress: discovered biomes, and the ones still to find.
  • Custom statistics: show any scoreboard objective (a currency balance, minigame wins) as a statistic, in the book, rankings and leaderboards.
  • Floating leaderboards for 38 statistics, with each player's own rank shown to them.
  • Admin panel: view or reset any player, manage leaderboards, choose what's tracked, prune inactive players.
  • 12 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) and Korean (with French, Spanish and Portuguese regional copies). Everything follows the game language.
  • Discord sharing (in English) through BedrockBridge.

Works in single player, on Realms and on dedicated servers. No experiments needed.

Installation

  1. Import the .mcaddon file into Minecraft.
  2. Apply both the behaviour pack and the resource pack to your world.

Upgrading from 2.x: statistics, leaderboards and settings move over automatically the first time the
world loads. Each player's full stats move over the next time they join.

Commands

/mygen:statisticsEveryoneOpen your statistics (same as using the book)

Resetting your own statistics is in the same menu. Operators find the Admin Panel button at the
bottom of it.

Admin settings

  • Tracking: switch whole categories off, or just their per-type lists (the per-type lists use the most space). Turning something off keeps what's already saved.
  • Count Creative and Spectator (off by default): when off, players in those modes only gain time played.
  • Statistics lecterns, Give new players a book, Rankings page in the book (turn off during competitions; admins still see ranks from the player list).
  • Leaderboards: icons and medals, hide text behind blocks, show each player their rank, how far away boards are visible.
  • Custom Statistics: pick a scoreboard objective, name it, and optionally add text before or after the number. Scores are copied while players are online, so offline players show their last score.
  • Remove Inactive Players: delete the statistics of players who haven't joined for a number of days.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.50 or newer
  • @minecraft/server 2.10.0, @minecraft/server-ui 2.2.0 (stable APIs)

Development

  • Translations live in BedrockStatistics_RP/texts/*.lang (keys start bs.; names like "Mob Kills" reuse the game's own stat.* keys). en_US.lang is the source: add a key there, then to every other file. npm test checks every language has every key with the same %s placeholders.
  • npm test: smoke and menu tests against stubs generated from the official Script API metadata (python tools/test/gen_stub_exports.py regenerates them after an API update).
  • npm run package: runs the tests, then builds dist/BedrockStatistics-<version>.mcaddon.

Statistics are stored in world dynamic properties (bs3:*), one document per player per category, so
they're available whether a player is online or not. See BedrockStatistics_BP/scripts/core/store.js.
